Baggage Update: By the end of June, almost every major airline in the country will impose fees on the second bag checked. Continental, Delta, Northwest, United and US Airways will charge $25 for the second bag, while JetBlue and Midwest will charge $20. American, meanwhile, is charging $15 for the first bag and $25 for the second. Among the well-known name brands, only Southwest remains fee free.

Laura holds an M.A. in European Politics from the University of Essex in Colchester, England and a B.S. Summa Cum Laude in Broadcast Journalism from Syracuse University. Powell also studied at the European University Institute in Fiesole, Italy.
